Updated Primary Bath

Sometimes a project is less about a complete transformation but rather updating a space to more perfectly fit the rest of the home. Such was the case of this primary bath, part of an ongoing design project with multiple rooms completed at different times. The main focus was to create a luxury spa-like atmosphere without completely diverging from the existing aesthetic of the house around it.

This elegant but cozy final product came out of creating a balance between the luxury state-of-the-art fixtures and the comfortable bathroom fundamentals. The gorgeous soaking tub and the fully outfitted steam shower fit for any spa are grounded by the more traditional style vanity. The custom built-in bookcase furthers the calming aesthetic while remaining a functional solution in a smaller size en suite. A contemporary color on the walls and the perfect piece of artwork tie everything together.
