Modern Lake House

Inspired by the view

One of our largest projects to date, this brand new construction was a true collaboration between the architect, Keri Belovarac, and the clients who were looking to preserve the family history tied to the location of this Modern Lake House. Not functioning as a primary residence but rather a countryside escape, much of the design of each room was inspired by the surrounding nature and guided by the client’s vision of a relaxing oasis.

Each room offers a fresh perspective of lakeside living: the chef’s kitchen draws inspiration from river rocks and the natural tones of the landscape while the dining room’s elegant levity reflects the nearby water’s vitality. The true star is the great room, boasting the grand two-story custom fireplace designed to introduce the clients’ contemporary style into the heart of the home.
